Cumming Gymsations Level 2 Girls Team takes First Place at State!

Cumming,Georgia - May 20, 2009 - The Cumming Gymsations Level 2 competitive team took home their first state title at the Amateur Athletics Union (AAU) Levels 2 & 3 Georgia State Gymnastics meet.

The Gymsations Level 2 team is coached by Deven Pressley, who has been the Cumming Gymsations Director for ten years. Paul Daniel, Cathy Campfield and Lauren Weeks are assistant coaches for the Level 2 team.

In analyzing the team score, there were several 1^st Place All-Around finishes - Rachel Smith, age 8 (38.825) and Sienna Schreiber, age 7B (38.775); 2^ndPlace All-Around finishes - Alexis Young, age 8C (38.200) and Lexi Somoza, age 7B (37.925); 3^rdPlace All-Around finishes - Isabella Larsen, age 10 (37.250).

Cumming Gymsations Level 4 Boys Team takes Second at State!

The level 4 boys took second place team at the State meet held in Cobb County March 15, 2009.  Contributing to the team's win were Nicky Becnel, Will and Cass Benson, Peter Campfield, Thomas Enny, Alex Kincaid, Nelson Land, Jonathan Marciniak, Joe Sikes and Nick Toledano. 

All around finishes include: Peter Campfield - 1st place;  Nick Toledano - 2nd place; Alex Kincaid - 3rd place.

Leading up to State, the boys team took first place at their inaugural home meet held on March 8, 2009.
